Planning & Logistics
Planning and Logistics

When you give us the go-ahead for your production, a Planner will be allocated to this project. Each production is dealt with on a project management basis. The Planner, in a nutshell, is your project manager.
The Planner is responsible for the following
Visiting the venue/location with you to finalize arrangements

  • Camera positions and lenses required.
  • Coordinating of the scaffold platform suppliers.
  • Arrange for the access and parking of the OB facilities
  • Security and access passes
  • Toilet facilities
  • Catering
  • Cable routing
  • Travel and accommodation
  • Communication circuits e.g. ISDN lines, telephones
  • Commentary and reporting positions
  • The sourcing of additional resources e.g. helicopters for aerial shots.
  • Arrangements with various officials e.g Stadium Managers, Traffic, Security, Police

Depending on the complexity of the production, the Planner may call upon technical, sound, camera, lighting, microwave and other experts to advise and meet with you.
He/she is your point of contact and will ensure that the crew is fully conversant with the details of your production.
You will receive a copy of the Production Schedule containing all the details. The Schedule lists the names of the crew, call times, camera positions, lenses required, cable lengths, audio requirements, and details of the recording and playback facilities as well as the names and numbers of the venue officials.
In fact, we take pride in being a “one-stop” service.  Your Planner can assist and advise you of what we provide.
